EV Chargers — questions we get every day.
Will it work with my EV?
All EVs sold in Australia use either a Type 2 or NACS connector. We confirm compatibility before quoting.
Do I need three-phase power?
No — 7kW chargers run on single phase and are plenty for overnight charging. Three phase unlocks 22kW if your home supports it.
Can I charge from solar?
Yes — solar-aware chargers (Wallbox, Fronius, Tesla Gen 3 with config) can prioritise solar generation and top up the car when the panels are exporting.
Do I need to upgrade my switchboard?
Sometimes. We confirm it from the details you share and itemise it in your quote.
