Common questions

The support questions we hear most.

My system has stopped generating — what do I do?

First check the inverter screen — most show an error code that we can diagnose over the phone. Call 1300 008 088 or email hello@ehomes.au with a photo of the inverter screen and we'll triage same day.

I can't see data in the monitoring app.

Usually a Wi-Fi reconnection. The inverter's Wi-Fi password resets if your home Wi-Fi password changes — easy 2-minute fix we can walk you through over the phone.

How do I claim a warranty?

Don't go to the manufacturer — call us. Workmanship warranty is on us; product warranty (panel, inverter, battery) is the manufacturer's but we manage the claim on your behalf. That's why our warranty runs through eHomes.

Can I expand my system?

Yes. New panels can be added if your inverter has spare DC capacity. A battery can be added at any time. Call for a top-up quote.

I'm moving — does the warranty transfer?

The product warranties transfer to the new owner automatically. The eHomes workmanship warranty transfers if you let us know during settlement.

When should I service my system?

Solar panels are largely maintenance-free, but a 5-yearly clean and inspection is good practice. Heat pump hot water benefits from an annual service. AC needs filter cleans every 6–12 months. We can quote any of these.
