The SA Home Battery Scheme closed to new applications in mid-2022. South Australian households now access the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program (launched 1 July 2025), which gives approximately $4,600 off a 21 kWh battery installed at point of sale. City of Adelaide residents can also stack the local Sustainability Incentives Scheme (up to $2,000). We apply the federal rebate at quote — no paperwork on you.
