The offer

One price. Whole system. Fitted and switched on.

Most battery quotes hide the install, the inverter or the paperwork. This one does not. $4,999 is the installed price for the complete system on a standard single-phase home.

Fox ESS battery storage — enough to carry a family home overnight

$4,999

Why it is worth doing

You already make the power. You just give it away.

Your solar works hard all day, while the house is empty. That power goes to the grid for a few cents. Then at 6pm you buy it back at full price. You paid for those panels. A battery is how you finally use them.

Kill your electricity bill

Power prices keep climbing. Your income does not have to climb with them. Every unit you pull from your own battery is a unit you never pay a retailer for again.

Use your solar at night

Dinner, the heater, the hot water, the telly — all of it lands in the most expensive window of the day. 21 kWh is sized to carry a family home right through that stretch on stored sunshine.

Future-proof your home

You worked for this house. A battery makes it steadier — a smaller bill each quarter, far less power bought at peak rates, and a home that is worth more when it matters.

What "fully installed" means

  • Full installation by our accredited electricians
  • Standard mounting, cabling and isolators
  • Monitoring set up and shown to you on the day
  • Federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate claimed and applied
  • Grid application and compliance paperwork lodged for you

Where this offer runs

Available now in SA, VIC, QLD and NSW.

The federal battery rebate applies nationally. Some states stack extra help on top — here is what applies where you live.

South Australia

Our home state. Adelaide HQ, our own crews, and the shortest lead times we run anywhere. The $4,999 price applies across Adelaide and the surrounding regions.

Adelaide installs

Victoria

Melbourne and surrounds. Victorian evenings are the expensive part of the day, which is exactly the window a 21 kWh battery covers.

Melbourne installs

Queensland

Brisbane and the Gold Coast. High solar generation and heavy air-conditioning load make storage pay for itself faster here than almost anywhere.

New South Wales

NSW homes can put this battery on the Government Home Energy Saver loan — up to $15,000 at 0% interest over 10 years. That means $0 upfront on top of the sale price.

NSW interest-free loan
New South Wales

In NSW you do not have to pay the $4,999 upfront.

The NSW Government Home Energy Saver program lends up to $15,000 at 0% interest over up to 10 years for home energy upgrades — and a home battery is on the eligible list.

What you get

$0 upfront, 0% interest

Borrow up to $15,000 with no interest and no balloon payment. The battery goes in now and you repay it over the term — ideally out of what you stop paying the grid.

Who qualifies

You generally qualify if you own a home in NSW — owner-occupier or landlord — and your combined household taxable income is $210,000 or under. A standard credit check applies through the provider.

Funding is capped at roughly 32,000 homes statewide, so it will not stay open indefinitely.

The Home Energy Saver loan is funded by the NSW Government and delivered by its accredited providers, Brighte and Plenti. eHomes is your installer, not the lender — we help you apply, but credit is provided and approved by the accredited provider subject to their terms and a credit assessment.

How it works

Four steps from here to switched on.

Step 1

Check your postcode

Send your postcode and contact details. We confirm stock is still available for your area and that the standard install applies.

Step 2

Quick site check

A few questions about your switchboard, meter and where the battery would sit. Anything outside the standard install is priced before you commit.

Step 3

Lock the price

You get the final figure in writing with the rebate already applied. NSW homes can put it on the interest-free loan at this point.

Step 4

We install

Accredited electricians fit the system, lodge the paperwork and walk you through the monitoring app before they leave.

FAQ

The $4,999 battery deal — your questions.

Is $4,999 really the full installed price?

Yes, for a standard single-phase install. That figure covers the 21 kWh Fox ESS battery, the 5 kW hybrid inverter, the installation itself, standard mounting and cabling, monitoring setup, the grid application and your certificate of compliance. It is shown after the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate has been applied. If your home needs something outside the standard install — a switchboard upgrade, three-phase work, blackout or backup circuits, an unusually long cable run — that is quoted separately and agreed in writing before anything is booked.

What battery do I actually get?

A 21 kWh Fox ESS battery system paired with a 5 kW hybrid inverter. Fox ESS is an established manufacturer with Australian support, and the system is listed under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The battery carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Is 21 kWh big enough for my house?

For most family homes, yes. A typical Australian household uses somewhere between 15 and 25 kWh a day, and the evening peak — cooking, heating or cooling, hot water, laundry — is the part a battery needs to carry. 21 kWh is sized to cover that stretch rather than just trim the edges. We check your actual usage against a recent bill before recommending it.

Do I need solar already?

You get far more out of the battery if you do, because it stores the solar you are currently exporting for a few cents. If you do not have solar yet we can quote panels alongside the battery — that is priced separately from this offer.

Has the federal rebate already been taken off?

Yes. The $4,999 is the price after the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount is applied. We claim it for you, so there is no rebate to chase afterwards and no separate reimbursement to wait on. The rebate rate steps down over time, which is part of why this price is available now.

I am in NSW — can I pay it off?

Yes. NSW homes can use the Government Home Energy Saver loan: up to $15,000 at 0% interest over up to 10 years, with no upfront cost. You generally qualify if you own a NSW home and your combined household taxable income is $210,000 or under. The loan is funded by the NSW Government and delivered by its accredited providers, Brighte and Plenti — we are the installer, not the lender.

How long does this price last?

It runs while the allocated stock lasts. This is a volume buy being passed on, not a permanent price, so when the units are booked out the price returns to normal. We confirm current availability for your postcode when you enquire rather than leaving you to guess.

How long does the install take?

A standard battery install is usually done in a day. Timing from enquiry to install depends on your state, your grid application and current bookings — we give you a real date when we lock the price, not a vague window.

Who does the installation?

Accredited electricians working to Australian standards. eHomes Australia trades under ZD Consulting Pty Ltd and holds the relevant state licences, $20 million public and products liability insurance, and NETCC Approved Seller accreditation for new-energy products.

Where is this offer available?

South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales, in the metropolitan areas — Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney. Send your postcode and we will confirm whether we can reach you.

Offer terms and conditions

The $4,999 price is for a 21 kWh Fox ESS battery system with a 5 kW hybrid inverter, fully installed on a standard single-phase residential property in metropolitan Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, with suitable existing switchboard and meter arrangements, standard access and a standard cable run. Addresses outside those metropolitan areas are quoted separately. The price is shown after the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount has been applied and assumes eligibility for that program.

Work outside the standard install — including switchboard or meter upgrades, three-phase installations, extended cable runs, restricted or second-storey access, asbestos handling, remedial electrical work, additional solar panels, and blackout or backup circuits — is not included and is quoted separately. Any additional cost is confirmed in writing and agreed by you before the installation is booked.

Offer is subject to allocated stock, site suitability, distributor approval and applicable state regulations, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. Battery sizing recommendations are indicative and confirmed against your actual usage at the quote. Finance, where mentioned, is provided by third-party credit providers subject to their terms and a credit assessment — eHomes does not provide credit. eHomes Australia is a trading name of ZD Consulting Pty Ltd, ABN 80 642 102 056.
