Both batteries do the identical daily job — soak up your midday solar, spend it through the 5-9pm peak so you’re not buying power back at 30-50c a kWh. Savings come from capacity, sizing and your tariff, not the badge. A well-sized system from either brand moves a typical Adelaide home from roughly $720 a quarter to around $90 once paired with 6.6 kW of solar.

What does each cost after the federal rebate?

The same, rebate-wise — and that’s the point. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program pays on usable kWh, not brand: roughly $252 off every usable kWh for the first 14 kWh, then about 60% of that rate to 28 kWh. A ~13 kWh battery from either brand attracts around $3,200-$3,300 off; a ~21 kWh system around $4,586; up near 28 kWh, about $5,645. The rebate never breaks the tie — it shifts both quotes down together. We claim it at point of sale, you sign for the net price, and the Clean Energy Regulator paperwork is ours to carry.
